Ministry: Development
Hello, I’m Elsa Flor Garcia! In February of 2002 I came to know about BCM Peru and its various ministries and commitment to reaching the children of Peru for Christ. From there I decided to prepare myself at IBYM, BCM Peru’s Bible institute, and in my second year of studies, the Lord reaffirmed even more the desire He’d given me to serve as a missionary.
God has worked in my heart and life this year in showing me future direction in my place here and using my talents and gifts in my ministry. I really feel that I’m the right person working in the right job.
Currently I am in the ministry of “Support and Development”. In my ministry role I’m in charge of providing, implementing and equipping the various ministries of BCM Peru with the materials and resources they need to serve effectively in their roles and to the local churches. I am also the secretary for IBYM with all the added tasks involved with that.
In addition to this ministry, God has also given me the privilege of participating in evangelistic ministries like campaigns with drama, mimes and programs in the streets and shows for children such as “gospel clown”. There are also missionary trips during the year throughout Peru as well as Bible clubs in and around Lima where I’m able to help in local churches with children’s programs with lessons, puppets, verses and songs.
